Rwanda
Rwanda (officially Republic of Rwanda) is a country in Eastern Africa, with its capital at Kigali, and is home to roughly 14.3M people.
Its official languages are English, French, Kinyarwanda; the currency in circulation is Rwandan franc (Fr); people from here are called Rwandan.

Rwanda touches four neighbours: Burundi to the south, DR Congo to the west, Tanzania to the southeast and Uganda to the northeast. Directions run from one centre to the other.
Kigali is spread across a series of steep hills and valleys, and is often cited as one of the cleanest cities in Africa, helped by a monthly community clean-up day.

Redesigned in 2001 to remove the red of the previous flag, which had become associated with the genocide. The sun stands for enlightenment, blue for happiness and peace.
