Cambodia
Cambodia (officially Kingdom of Cambodia) is a country in South-Eastern Asia, with its capital at Phnom Penh, and is home to roughly 17.6M people.
Khmer is the official language; the currency in circulation is Cambodian riel (៛) and United States dollar ($); people from here are called Cambodian.

Cambodia touches three neighbours: Laos to the north, Thailand to the northwest and Vietnam to the north. Directions run from one centre to the other.
Phnom Penh takes its name from a legend of a woman named Penh who found Buddha statues in a river and built a hill for them. It was emptied by force in 1975 when the Khmer Rouge drove its entire population into the countryside.
