South Sudan
South Sudan (officially Republic of South Sudan) is a country in Middle Africa, with its capital at Juba, and is home to roughly 11.9M people.
English is the official language; the currency in circulation is South Sudanese pound (£); people from here are called South Sudanese.

South Sudan touches six neighbours: Central African Republic to the west, DR Congo to the southwest, Ethiopia to the east, Kenya to the southeast, Sudan to the north and Uganda to the south. Directions run from one centre to the other. Neighbours in six different compass directions make this one of the better-connected outlines in the set.
Juba became a capital in 2011 with almost no infrastructure, and there have been repeated proposals to build a new capital at Ramciel, closer to the country's centre.
