Kenya (officially Republic of Kenya) is a country in Eastern Africa, with its capital at Nairobi, and is home to roughly 56.4M people.
Its official languages are English, Swahili; the currency in circulation is Kenyan shilling (Sh); people from here are called Kenyan.

Kenya touches five neighbours: Ethiopia to the north, Somalia to the northeast, South Sudan to the northwest, Tanzania to the southwest and Uganda to the west. Directions run from one centre to the other.
Nairobi began as a railway depot in 1899. It is the only capital in the world with a national park inside its boundaries, where lions and rhinos live within sight of the skyline.
