Jordan (officially Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan) is a country in Western Asia, with its capital at Amman, and is home to roughly 11.6M people.
Arabic is the official language; the currency in circulation is Jordanian dinar (د.ا); people from here are called Jordanian.

Jordan touches five neighbours: Iraq to the east, Israel to the west, Palestine to the northwest, Saudi Arabia to the southeast and Syria to the north. Directions run from one centre to the other.
