Namibia
Namibia (officially Republic of Namibia) is a country in Southern Africa, with its capital at Windhoek, and is home to roughly 3.0M people.
Its official languages are Afrikaans, German, English, Herero, Khoekhoe, Kwangali, Lozi, Ndonga, Tswana; the currency in circulation is Namibian dollar ($) and South African rand (R); people from here are called Namibian.

Namibia straddles the Tropic of Capricorn.
Namibia touches four neighbours: Angola to the north, Botswana to the east, South Africa to the southeast and Zambia to the northeast. Directions run from one centre to the other.
Windhoek sits at about 1,700 m in the central highlands and grew around hot springs, which is what its name refers to.
