South Africa (officially Republic of South Africa) is a country in Southern Africa, with its capital at Pretoria, and is home to roughly 64.0M people.
Its official languages are Afrikaans, English, Southern Ndebele, Northern Sotho, Southern Sotho, Swazi, Tswana, Tsonga, Venda, Xhosa, Zulu; the currency in circulation is South African rand (R); people from here are called South African.

Adopted in 1994, the only national flag using six colours without a seal. The horizontal Y-shape represents the convergence of diverse elements taking the road ahead together.
