Paraguay
Paraguay (officially Republic of Paraguay) is a country in South America, with its capital at Asunción, and is home to roughly 6.9M people.
Its official languages are Guaraní, Spanish; the currency in circulation is Paraguayan guaraní (₲); people from here are called Paraguayan.

Paraguay straddles the Tropic of Capricorn.
Paraguay touches three neighbours: Argentina to the southwest, Bolivia to the northwest and Brazil to the northeast. Directions run from one centre to the other.
Asunción is one of the oldest cities in South America and was the base from which much of the region was colonised, which earned it the name 'mother of cities'.
400,986 km² (154,821 sq mi), 59th largest of 198 countries and territories on file, almost exactly the size of Zimbabwe.
Population 6,929,153, 107th of 198 on file. That averages 17 per km² (45 per sq mi).
One of very few flags with different emblems on each side: the national coat of arms on the front, the treasury seal with a lion and liberty cap on the back.
