New Mexico
New Mexico is a US state in the West, admitted to the Union in 1912. Its capital is Santa Fe, and it goes by the nickname "the Land of Enchantment". The USPS abbreviation is NM.

Santa Fe was founded around 1610, making it the oldest state capital in the country, and at about 2,130 m it is also the highest.
314,978 km² (121,614 sq mi), 5th largest of 50 states by land area, almost exactly the size of Arizona.
